Sonic 2 and Sonic and Knuckles are two of the all time greatest games of the universe, so no matter how many black knights and 3d-ings and adventures with boring friends who are less interesting versions of Sonic you throw at me, I’ll always be here for you little dude…

Earthworm Jim from Earthworm Jim.
As a kid this was one of my absolute favorite games. Funny, weird, hypnotically violent and expertly executed. If you haven’t played the 2-d installments of this game series, you should stop what you’re doing and rearrange your near future to accomadate them. Earthworm Jim is a game about a worm who’s given the power to strike out against all who oppose him, when he gets hold of a super suit.
